It is a nice hotel in a good spot (easily accessible in the centre by foot). The rooms are spacious and the bed was really good to sleep on. The breakfast was also amazing.
However, where they extremely fell short was the service part. We came here to basically just sleep over for a company party. Firstly we had huge issues regarding the early check-in since our party timing was tricky. We tried to explain to the hotel that we don't really need to get the rooms, just the keys. They said it couldn't happen, and if we wanted to check-in early we needed to pay extra 30€. But, the reception works 0-24, so if we came late it would also work - so they claimed. We explained we might come more late than usual (since there was a party), so they were aware of that.
When we arrived around 3 am, the receptionist there was extremely impolite, asking us why we didn't show earlier (even though it was communicated). He also claimed he almost sold our rooms to someone else (which we ridiculed extensively). The next day during check-out, the receptionists (they were quite nice) had troubles, because for some reason we were marked as a "no-show".
So service was less than average (just because of that one unprofessional worker). Rest was good. Based on my experience, I doubt I would come back there for that price.
The hotel is great. Kind staff. My room was proper. I spent my time there due to work. I could relax very well. I had breakfast in the price and it was really great to have these delicious meals before work. The hotel has a good placement. …
This Mercure hotel is very well located in the heart of the city. Rooms are like the Mercure standard and the cleanliness is well at that location. Breakfast buffet is fine, you can find everything you want and need. Only things to be ameliorated could be the sometimes high price.
The hotel is super clean everywhere. Staff are very friendly as well. I highly recommend this place if you travel to Graz. One more thing, the breakfast quality and options here is impressive!! I love the breakfast!
Great location of the hotel, just a short walk from the city centre.
Renovated (superior) rooms are equipped with minibar, coffee maker and comfortable bed.
On-site parking is available.
Gym could be considered for slight renovation to keep up with modern standards.
the Breakfast is not bad and space is also enough in the room.
But the location is not good to tour in the graz.
If you're business travel in graz and the hotel located nearby your company, it's good choice.
The Mercure in Graz .is a lovely clean hotel beautiful staff nothing to much for them .Room are fab .you couldn't ask for anymore. I can't wait to go back there .hopefully next year or the year after. |
Clean room, Good breakfast.
Only disappoint was I wanted to use the sauna and was told it was on, but it was not. I reported to receptionist and was told the sauna would to turned on, it was not, I got tired of waiting.
